Officer Nicolas Paloma, 29, a Clearwater PD officer in Florida, was arrested for false imprisonment and sexual battery after coercing a 32-year-old female tourist into having sex with him under threat of a jaywalking and possibly charge her for sexual misconduct.
He demanded that the woman take him to her hotel and perform sex acts and forced himself on her while taking her to several locations in Clearwater and sexually assaulting her in the patrol car and demanded she cooperate in exchange for not charging her with the planned fabricated misdemeanors he threatened her with. It is unknown where the tourist came from but it is known that the forcible sexual encounter took place before she was able to regroup and report the incident.
The Clearwater PD chief is left fumbling for answers, asking the public if they knew about this incident or if there were possibly other victims out there. Officer Paloma is on paid administrative leave and still employed with the Clearwater Police Department.
