Savannah, GA police detective Ashley Wood was fired for fabricating evidence based upon which Marquis Parrish spent 2 years in jail.

When discovered, he was exonerated and Officer Wood was fired. Now, she was reinstated with a demotion down to code enforcement cop. Meanwhile, Marquis Parrish said while he was in jail, his family lived in fear, had to relocate and stay in hiding. After 2 years, the falsified murder charges against him were dropped.

The Civil Service Board decided that Wood had the “right to defend herself.”
