Lauderdale deputies received a call from the Crestwood Medical Center via mandated reporter that a woman was in the hospital due to a traffic stop during which she was raped by sodomy by Officer Jarrod Webster of Killen, AL. Because this happened while the officer was on duty, the FBI was called.
A bond hearing is set for December 5, 2023 to try to release the officer until his 2024 trial date.
