Brendan Carr has served as a member of the FCC since 2017. Appointed as the FCC’s general council in Trump’s previous administration, it is believed that he will now return to lead the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Carr’s career highlights include a push to change net neutrality and Carr’s past efforts to ban TikTok. He also attended a cybersecurity and telecommunications conference in Taiwan in 2022 during a time of western anti-China efforts in Taiwan.
