OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
On 11/01/2025, a state probation officer, Scott Waldron, reportedly shot and killed his wife, 47-year-old Padmini Waldron, at their Cape Cod Road residence in DeLand, and then used his duty-issued Glock service weapon to take his own life. Investigators determined the incident to be a murder-suicide. Two bodies were found inside the master-bathroom of the home after a friend arrived to help them set up a birthday celebration.
