He died from complications of the illness on 10/21/2021. Rodriguez had served with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services - Office of Agricultural Law Enforcement for more than 15 years. Following his death, he was posthumously promoted to the rank of Sergeant. He is survived by three daughters.
