OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Sgt. Michael Kunovich claimed a farm worker had attacked him. He was found to instead have made an illegal traffic stop on a Guatemalan teenager who did not speak English, was confused what the officer wanted as he was on his way to eat and was attacked by the officer who struggled with him, illegally searched his car and fell ill after the altercation the officer initiated, dying of an apparent heart attack after the arrest.
