According to the Milwaukee PD, they responded at 1:16 a.m. to the 2700 block of S. 14th St. in Milwaukee to search for a teenager reported in a robbery call. When police located him, he ran away and theyfound him again and "a struggle ensued."
The teenager allegedly produced a handgun and fired shots, killingOfficer Peter Jerving. Jervingfired his gun and shot and killed the teen. Both died at the scene.
