Police tried to pull over a vehicle they felt may have been involved in a prior crime. The driver did not stop. Police escalated a chase and the driver turned onto lee Drive, lost control in the turn, hit a tree and died. One other occupant of the vehicle also died. Charles Boone and Jovann Paige are the deceased. The other three occupants were transported to Mary Washington Hospital in critical condition. Their final outcome was not reported by police.
