The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office was notified that a Webster County deputy was pursuing a SUV for reckless driving. Police escalated a chase on Nebo Road/US 41a and had crossed into Hopkins County. Hopkins County deputies approached the vehicle in the 4400 block of Nebo Road where it had come to a complete stop in the middle of the roadway. Madisonville PD and Kentucky State Police also arrived. As police walked up to the vehicle, they discovered Brian Allen Hood had committed suicide under police duress.
