Kenneth Vineyard was helping a gunshot victim in the Center Township Walmart Plaza when an unidentified off-duty Center Township PD officer in civilian clothing walked up, yelled “get back” and when Vineyard did not cooperate, likely because he was not sure who this man in civilian clothing was, he was knocked to the ground by the officer, hit his head and died in the hospital after the attack. The DA recused himself from the case. The officer was not charged in this murder.
