Officers responded to a call making various allegations from juveniles pointing guns at cars to shoplifting. When police arrived, they allege Jaheim McMillan did not comply and pointed a gun at police. Police then shot and killed Jaheim McMillan.

BWC footage is linked proving a very different narrative. On video, officer Kenneth Nassar is seen driving up to the Dollar General parking lot. A juvenile is seen running near the entrance of Dollar General. Officer Nassar is seen getting out of his car and shooting at the boy immediately, then screaming at the other teens. McMillan is seen bleeding heavily on the ground for the entire 15-minute video without anyone checking his vital signs or making any efforts to help him. The video before the shooting does not show him as “refusing to comply” or pointing any guns at anyone, only running away for a brief few seconds before being killed instantly. McMillan’s mother showed up screaming and crying that she wanted to see her son and was arrested. Officer Nassar was cleared by a grand jury for the killing of the boy.
