Ali Osman was allegedly “throwing rocks” into an intersection and struck police vehicles. Officers shot and killed him when he attempted to throw another rock. The lawyer for the family showed a bag full of these “rocks” that look like average gravel driveway pebbles. Presumably, the heavily armed Phoenix PD feared for their lives when they saw a man throwing pebbles. Osman was unarmed. No officers were ever charged for this homicide.
