Former DPS officer Rito Paul Morales killed his third wife and another person. When Travis County deputies arrived, they shot and killed him. His second wife spoke out and said he had “groomed and abused” her since age 17 and that his police friends helped him cover up the many 911 calls for domestic violence. She also said that he had had a similar history with the wife before her. He ultimately killed his third wife.
