James Frazier, Jr. was identified as being involved in an armed robbery at a gas station on Exchange Street on the morning of July 16. Georgetown Police officer Stephen Cribb called for backup whereupon Frazier allegedly began running toward the officer with a knife in his hands. Police shot and killed him. Officer Cribb was cleared by internal investigation.
