Bade Ali Jabir was a refugee from Sudan who had some cultural and language difficulties and was being evicted. Neighbors supported him and said police caused the events that led to his death. He was being evicted and police allegedly terrorized him with creating perimeters, yelling into loudspeakers, sent remote control robots to invade his home and were relentlessly bearing down on him in his apartment. He refused to exit his home. SWAT officers then forcibly entered the home and shot and killed him after they allege he came out of a room holding a knife. Sadly, he had not been safer in the US than in Sudan.
