Bay Minette PD traffic-stopped Otis French for an alleged broken blinker. Police allege he refused to exit his vehicle and then pushed the officer and fled. Police claim that he took the officer's Taser and used it on him, the officer then shot and killed the victim. He had been unarmed. Police announced they won’t release the bodycam footage. It is unclear what they are concealing but police have presented no evidence for the controversial story they presented as to why they killed Otis French.
