Carrollwood police and Pinellas deputies went to a residence on Lake Ellen Circle in Carrollwood to try to arrest someone for a previous armed robbery. Two people were found and detained by police including the man they were looking for. Police went inside of the home to search it room by room and claim that they found a third person with a gun. They shot and killed Victor Gomez.
