West Memphis PD attempted to arrest a man on Interstate 40 near West Memphis because a man was allegedly driving a stolen car. The vehicle was located just after 2 a.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of Ingram Boulevard. The vehicle drove away. Police escalated a pursuit onto eastbound I-40 where it hit a concrete divider wall and stopped.Police state that driver got out of the disabled vehicle, jumped over the divider and jumped over the north facing concrete wall and fell to the ground below. He died from the fall.
