Boone County deputies were called for a vehicle stolen from a parking lot that had children inside. The man seem to realize this and did return the car quickly before fleeing on foot. Deputies were contacted when someone matching his description try to steal a second car. Police attempted to stop him and he drove away. He fled by vehicle and then on foot. Police that he “showed” a weapon. Police shot and killed him during the foot chase. He is believed to not have fired any shots
