Phoenix PD officers responded to a report of a woman, later identified as 29-year-old ShatifahLobley, having been shot near 51st Avenue and Elwood Street just north of Broadway Road. An officer went to the house to help her and was invited inside by Morris Jones. Police allegedly did not enter and the officer was allegedly attacked by Jones who fired shots and injured a total of 9 officers. Police fired shots. He died by suicide under police duress.
