Open Records Summary :
A disturbance call was received for Lowes Home Improvement in Davenport involving a problem with terminating an employee and retrieving a company vehicle.
The manallegedly refused to return the vehicle and threatened he was armed with a pistol and rifle.The man fled but was tracked via GPS signal. Police tried to pull over the vehicle and a vehicle chase ensued.
The vehicle unexpectedly ran off the roadway to the east, entered the ditch and struck a tree.
Deputies approached the vehicle and found the driver dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the release.
