Port Jervis PD attempted to traffic stop a motorcycle that was allegedly speeding. The motorcycle did not stop. Police accelerated a chase that ended when the motorcycle crashed into an SUV and light post and died. He was apparently hunted at high-speed for a traffic violation. Police claim that they “called off the pursuit” immediately prior to impact and did not publicly identify him.
