Fairfax County Police responded to a request by a healthcare provider to perform a wellness check on a 33-year-old female. Police arrived and she opened the door with a knife, allegedly cutting the officer’s face. Police state that she refused to drop the knife and explaining why they shot her, they pointed out that she was a very large female, which caused the officer to shoot and kill her.
