Houston PD chased a vehicle, performed a PIT maneuver and caused the vehicle to crash. A man emerged and allegedly engaged in a shootout with police who killed him. Patrick Hurst had been a sovereign citizen who had livestreamed his last moments of shootout with police. Photo above taken from his livestream moments before the shootout. Sovereign citizens do not acknowledge police authority and are often targeted by police for refusing to cooperate with police. A female bystander sitting in a nearby parked car was hit by bullets from the shootout between police and the sovereign citizen and also died. It is unknown whether Hurst or police had killed her.
