Homestead PD arrived at an apartment complex looking for Gabriel Rodriguez to investigate a previous event. Police allege that Rodriguez came at them with an unspecified “sharp object” and they shot and killed him. Eyewitnesses described a chaotic scene with a very bloody apartment with many bullet holes by police. Rodriguez’ family members and pregnant girlfriend were forced out of the apartment by police just prior to the shooting.
