OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :

Christopher Pringle, 33, was reported missing while visiting Port St. Lucie from Texas. Based upon the missing person report, St. Lucie Police first located him on the highway and placed stop sticks. He drove on and police escalated a hunt with reportedly dozens of police, a helicopter, drones when police found him in his van inside of a shopping mall. When police found him by pinging his cell phone, a SWAT standoff was started by police who also locked down the mall. Police brought a Lenco BearCat. They shattered the windows of his van and threw in flashbang grenades. Chemical agents were used and he was heard coughing inside.

Finally, Christopher Pringle committed suicide under the prolonged intense police attacks. Police stated that he was not sought in connection with any crime but rather that this was a missing person case that was for unclear reasons carried out very aggressively with him fleeing the police onslaught and eventually leading to his death. His family stated that he had been depressed and was an all around positive person. Police state the only weapon he had on him was a homemade .22. He was not reported to have threatened or harmed anyone.
