Curtis Purvis Junior was allegedly involved in a domestic violence incident. Police arrived and he fled. He returned and ran into his girlfriend’s father with his car. He then ran into the home and stabbed the girlfriend. When he emerged from the house, a deputy shot and killed him. Both stabbing victims were taken into the hospital and survived.
