OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Mayfield PD, the Graves County Sheriff’s Office and SWAT attempted to arrest a man wanted for incest and child rape in Tennessee. The man had communicated to police that he planned to kill himself. Police located him in a motel and tried to arrest him. A struggle ensued and he fled back to the motel room. Police escalated a standoff and more law enforcement agencies arrived. The man finally opened the door and exited with a gun pointed at police. Police shot and killed him.
