On 06/28/2026, officers with the Clinton Department of Public Safety responded to a report of a disturbance involving a weapon at an apartment complex located at 412 Musgrove Street in Clinton. Officers entered an apartment and encountered 31-year-old Brodie Quinton Reese.
According to investigators, Reese was armed during the encounter. Officers discharged their firearms, striking him. Officers and emergency medical personnel rendered aid, but Reese was pronounced dead at the scene.
