Greene, concluding with the phrase "VIVA VIVA PALESTINA." which according to police was "traced to a "Russian IP address", referenced Palestine and led to a high-priority response, including a bomb squad dispatched to Greene’s residence. IP addresses are easy to change and the email appears to have been a hoax.

During the response, an officer driving his personal vehicle crashed into Ms. Pickelsimer's car. Emergency responders pronounced Ms. Pickelsimer dead at the scene. The officer sustained injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The bomb squad later confirmed that there was no active threat at Rep. Greene’s residence. This incident marks one of several threats and swatting calls targeting Rep. Greene, who reported at least nine such incidents.

The passenger, a 32-year-old male from Columbia, was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and pronounced deceased at the scene. Drones and K-9 units were deployed to locate the driver, but as of the latest update, the individual has not been apprehended.

Troopers attempted a traffic stop. The driver, identified as 22-year-old Hugo Julian Urbano Chavez of Dalton, Georgia, did not stop. Troopers escalated a chase to unknown speeds. As Chavez approached Exit 348, he attempted to pass vehicles on the left shoulder, lost control, crossed all northbound lanes, struck a guardrail, and overturned. Chavez was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger, 30-year-old Angel Aleman of Dalton, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The GSP is conducting an investigation into the incident.

On 11/20/2024, Michael Scott Hughes, 31, was driving on FM-929 in Coryell County when Woodway Police escalated a pursuit. The incident began during a traffic stop on Highway 84 in Woodway when officers identified Hughes as having felony parole violations and an active arrest warrant. Police alleged that they saw him with a firearm as he drove away. Police pursued him at high speed into Coryell County.

The pursuit transitioned from Highway 84 to State Highway 36 and FM-929. Around 10:00 PM, Hughes lost control of the 2019 Chevrolet, crossed into the eastbound lane, and collided head-on with a 2023 Volkswagen SUV. Hughes was killed on impact. A 61-year-old male passenger in Hughes’ vehicle was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. A 68-year-old passenger in the Volkswagen was transported to a hospital but died from their injuries. The Volkswagen’s driver and two other passengers were hospitalized for treatment of injuries.

On 11/17/2024, 36-year-old Justin Foreman was killed in a crash on Route 261 in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland, during a police pursuit initiated by the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office. When Foreman did not stop, officers escalated a high-speed pursuit. The chase continued along Route 261 until Foreman’s vehicle lost control and crashed as a result.
