Seneca County Sheriff’s Office stated that a 23-year-old armed man abducted a 7-month-old baby girl. He had been in a relationship with the baby’s mother. The North Baltimore Police Chief had initially responded to a domestic dispute and said the person was homicidal and suicidal, threatening the child’s life. The baby’s mother was tracking the person’s location through her phone and passing the information on. An off-duty officer saw the vehicle and police tried to pull them over but the person led officers on a chase. He eventually accelerated at a high speed and veered off the road, hitting a house on Sandusky Street at full-speed.
Authorities surrounded the vehicle and broke the back window to get the baby out. Police say the 7-month-old was bleeding and had shallow breathing. The person was extricated from the vehicle and both were taken to an area hospital for treatment. According to Tiffin Police, the infant died from her injuries. The man is in critical condition.

Georgia State troopers sawa motorcyclist going 100 mph in a 70-mph zone on Interstate 75 in Cobb County, swerving “in and out of traffic” and driving in the emergency lane at an “extremely high rate of speed,” police said. On 06/20/2023, New Jersey State Police Detective Mark Campagna, who was off duty and driving an unmarked state police vehicle, began following Omar Kebbabi on Route 206 in Burlington County. Authorities later stated that Campagna chased Kebbabi for several miles at speeds exceeding 100 mph while making multiple lane changes. Investigators said Campagna never activated emergency lights or sirens and never notified dispatch or other law enforcement agencies about the pursuit as required by New Jersey Attorney General pursuit policies.
The pursuit ended at the intersection of Route 206 and Jacksonville-Jobstown Road in Springfield Township when Kebbabi crashed into another vehicle and died from his injuries. The driver of the other vehicle survived.
In 2025, a state grand jury indicted Campagna on a criminal charge of fourth-degree endangering another person. Prosecutors argued that Campagna conducted a reckless and unauthorized pursuit that endangered the public and directly contributed to the fatal crash. On 05/14/2026, a jury found Campagna guilty. Prosecutors stated that Campagna’s actions created a dangerous high-speed chase outside established police policy. Campagna now faces possible prison time, fines, and revocation of his law enforcement license.

The officer claims that he at some point allegedly deactivated his emergency equipment and decided not to pursue the Camaro. Police said the Camaro then left the roadway and struck a railroad track berm, which caused the Chevy to go airborne.
The Camaro then reportedly traveled through a chain link fence and landed in a parking lot on railroad property, where it became wedged between two semi-trailers. Three teenagers died at the scene.

Police confronted a group of street racers in the Powell Avenue area and attempted to stop a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro, Jeffrie Prendergast sped away. The officer claims that he at some point allegedly deactivated his emergency equipment and decided not to pursue the Camaro. Police said the Camaro then left the roadway and struck a railroad track berm, which caused the Chevy to go airborne.
The Camaro then reportedly traveled through a chain link fence and landed in a parking lot on railroad property, where it became wedged between two semi-trailers. Three teenagers died at the scene.
