Conway PD said they encountered Williams during a domestic disturbance call reported at the McDonald’s on Oak Street in Conway around 11:44 a.m. where a man and woman were reported to have been fighting in a car in the parking lot. Williams exited the car and spoke to police when they arrived. They asked for his ID and he returned to the car, started rummaging through it and did not exit on command. Police pulled him from the vehicle. He started running. Officers found him behind a residence on Gum Street where he started showing signs of medical distress. He died in the hospital soon after.
Strangely, his autopsy was completed in December of 2023 and his death was ruled "accidental" while his sickle cell trait and alleged methamphetamine in his system were alleged to have contributed. This still leaves the main cause of death undisclosed trauma in police custody. Sickle cell trait is not a lethal condition, merely a trait that can exacerbate sickle cell crisis. While there was allegedly some meth in his system, it was not reported as leading cause of death. His cause of death was concealed by these findings by the coroner and remains an unknown "accident" while handcuffed in police custody.

Benton County deputies responded to a caller who said they had heard gunfire on Nelson Amos’ property. Police found him driving a tractor and holding a weapon. He explained to police that he had some trespassers regularly on his property and that he is patrolling to scare them off. The deputy struck a threatening tone following which Amos was heard on bodycam saying “Fuck you!” to him, turn away and climbing back on his tractor. The deputy called for backup and he was next seen together with another deputy with a long rifle aiming at Amos on the tractor. Deputies had alleged that he had pointed a pistol at them. This is not seen anywhere on the bodycam and seconds before his death, Amos continued yelling at police to just go away and leave him alone. He never displayed aggression toward police visible on bodycam. Police shot and killed him on his tractor on his property.

Phoenix PD officers responded to a report of a woman, later identified as 29-year-old Shatifah Lobley, having been shot near 51st Avenue and Elwood Street just north of Broadway Road. An officer went to the house to help her and was invited inside by Morris Jones. Jayden Prunty was walking on Spruce Street. As seen on the body camera footage, Officer Corey Obregon stopped him as part of drug interdiction operation in the area. The officer “detected a strong odor of marijuana.” Prunty walked away while the officer continued to tell him to “Come here.” Prunty ran and Officer Obregon followed, and both fell to the ground. With Prunty on the ground as the officer tried to cuff him, the officer told dispatch he had a" suspect fighting.”
Prunty was allegedly reaching for something which the officer believed to be a gun. A shot is heard, which investigators alleged Prunty fired, hitting Officer Obregon in the leg. The officer then pulled his gun and fired two shots, which appeared to hit Prunty in the head as both men remained on their sides.
The officer then called for help from dispatch, saying shots have been fired. Investigators said they could hear the officer kick the other gun away. Other officers responded to the scene. Prunty died at the hospital. The full video is linked below.
