Louisville PD were in the area of 22nd and Griffiths when they allege that Mark Jaggers ran up to their vehicle wearing a mask and tried to open the door. Louisville Metro Police Department undercover officers with the agency's Fugitive Unit were near the intersection of North 22nd Street and Griffiths Avenue at around 1:30 p.m. looking for a person involved in a non-fatal shooting when an unrelated man in his 20s attempted to carjack them with a gun. At 2:36 a.m Saturday, June 10, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop at Scottsville Road and Bryant Way in Bowling Green. A Silver 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix pulled into the PNC bank and as the deputy exited their cruiser, the other vehicle accelerated rapidly, jumped 2 curbs, and crashed into the front of the Greenwood Mall. The driver was found dead from suicide under police duress.

A man was driving the motorcycle and took off at high speeds on Buckeye Road when Kentucky State Police troopers and other law enforcement officers tried to pull him over. he weaved in and out of traffic and drove at high speeds during the case. After making a right turn on Highway 1131, he crashed the motorcycle as a result of the chase. Shelby White riding on the motorcycle suffered severe injuries from the crash and had to be flown to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital. She later died at the hospital. Police confiscated an herb grinder and some cannabis.

Kentucky Brown County deputy Caleb Savage attempted a traffic stop on Ryan Mitchell on March 12, 2023 in Ohio. He chased Mitchell into Kentucky until the chase caused Mitchell to crash. Officer Savage fled the scene and left Mitchell to die alone. Charges against the officer are being considered.

A KSP trooper attempted a traffic stop in Hardin County on a KIA Soul near Joe Prather Parkway near I-65 but the vehicle didn't stop. Police escalated a chase reaching 100 mph when the driver made a U-turn, continuing northbound on US 31-W before running a red light near the intersection of US 31-W and Gateway Crossing Boulevard. Police said the driver then struck three vehicles in the intersection, becoming disabled and catching fire in the southbound lanes. The driver died.
