The Kia reached speeds where it lost control, crashed into a tree and exploded in a fireball, killing all 4 occupants. The children were identified as Serenity Sellman, 15, Dartrel Byers, 17, Zyshaun Cuffey, 15, and Marquay Swan, 14.

OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
A driver called 911 at about 1:40 p.m. Sunday to report a driver in a black BMW following their car and “firing shots.” Morningside PD saw a BMW that matched the description at the intersection of Suitland and Allentown roads and chased the vehicle untilthe driver lost control and hit a third party motorist in a Ford in the northbound turning lane. The third party motorist in the Ford was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died in the hospital Tuesday.
