On June 10, 2021, around 5 p.m., John Anthony Little locked himself inside a home after allegedly shooting someone and kidnapping a woman. He was later seen by officers on Division Street with a pistol to his head. Little proceeded to his mother's nearby house and reportedly fired at the officers. After employing various unknown tactics, police forced entry into the home through a window at approximately 3:30 p.m. and discovered Little dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
