Harrisburg Police officers with a K9 chased someone on foot at 1:30 a.m. in the streets of Harrisburg. The man eventually allegedly fired shots at police. They shot and killed him. In a police press release, police stated they did not know why the man was running from them. Scranton Police arrived at a domestic violence incident with one woman shot and injured. The man locked himself into the home and a tense standoff was escalated by SWAT. Tactical and explosive units were deployed for unknown reasons. When police breached the home, they found the man dead from apparent suicide under police duress.

Delaware County Police began chasing Yazmyn Stewart for a prior shooting. The chase led into Chester, PA. Stewart fled into a private home and tried to hide, finally taking the resident’s car. As she tried to flee again, she was met by numerous officers from five agencies, 10 of whom opened fire on her. She died in the shootout.

Zachariah White walked around in traffic erratically, then entered a nursing home where he entered random rooms. Police attacked him with a taser, then shot and killed him. Police allege he took the metal foot rest of a wheelchair, apparently after he was tasered, and came at police with it. This was the explanation given why the apparently unarmed man was killed. Police shot and killed Austyn Cousins. When asked by media whether Cousins had actually fired any shots, police replied that they did not know. It is completely unclear why this young software engineer was killed in the dark night at 1:49 a.m. other than a police surveillance system sending police to the street and firing shots. From the time, the ShotSpotter alert was reported in the police station until the radio call that Cousins had been shot by police, only 11 minutes elapsed. Eyewitnesses and BWC footage are critically needed in this case.
