NARRATIVE:
On 02/15/2022, an unidentified passenger was one of three people killed when a stolen Chevrolet pickup carrying seven people crashed during a Texas Department of Public Safety pursuit on U.S. Highway 57 approximately four miles east of La Pryor in Zavala County. A Zavala County Sheriff's Office official said investigators believed the driver was among the three people killed, although authorities had not publicly established which of the deceased passengers had been driving.
