Police initiated a traffic stop and the driver initially pulled over, then stepped on the gas and fled the traffic stop. Other nearby officers initiated a chase. The man drove through a red traffic signal and collided with a third-party vehicle in the 9100 block of West Silver Spring Drive after stop sticks and a PIT maneuver had been tried.
