Three children, ages 7, 5 and 16 months were abducted after a domestic violence situation on Virginia Beach by 36-year-old Dana Demetrius Plummer. Virginia State Police generated an Amber Alert and the man was found driving a vehicle with all 3 children. Police escalated a high-speed chase that ended when the vehicle crashed due to the pursuit, rolled over and the 18-month-old baby girl was ejected. She was Medevac’d to a hospital where she died. The two young boys were injured.

Anchorage PD were called to an apartment at 4840 E. 43rd Ave. where a teenage girl in some sort of mental health crisis had threatened a sibling. Police arrived, alleged that the girl held a knife, feared for their lives and fired both live munitions as well as 40 mm rounds at her simultaneously, killing her. A man had allegedly robbed a bank and fled. Five law enforcement agencies hunted him at high speed for over 20 miles. Bertie County deputies were sent to the home of Tyshawn Barnes for an involuntary mental health commitment order. Police announced over the loudspeaker orders for Barnes to come out. A family member came out with his hands up as it was evident the residents were worried about police. Barnes exited the residence. Police claim he had a firearm. The weapon did not discharge and he went back into the residence, came out, fired a shot at a patrol vehicle. Police shot Barnes. Three deputies fired shots, killing him.

On August 12, 2024, at about 7:00 p.m., Warner Robins Police Officers responded to the 200 block of N. Sixth St., Warner Robins, Houston County, GA, in reference to a man with a gun. When officers arrived, they encountered Concepcion. Concepcion fired at the officers and tried to forcefully enter the home. Officers shot and killed him.

George Edward Mulligan Junior was involved in what was initially reported as a domestic dispute. Police arrived and found a woman in the backyard. They allege that someone fired shots toward them from inside the home. No one was hit. Police moved the woman to safety. A perimeter was established and back up arrived in the form of front Royal Police Department, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Virginia State Police, Winchester Police Department, Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office, establishing a giant police presence and very tense SWAT situation onto the home where the man, and two children were still inside under massive police pressure. Police fired gas canisters inside of the residence while the children were still inside. Police then brought out the children sometime after the CS gas assault. A drone was sent inside of the house and found the man dead from suicide under police duress.

Delhi, LA has a population of only 2,633. There have been a number of police incidents in this location in recent years.
