On the evening of July 26, 2025, Ligonier Valley police responded to reports of shots fired near the intersection of Route 30 and Baywood Road. Upon arrival, officers located Jeffrey J. Sierocky seated inside a vehicle. As officers advanced toward the car, additional gunfire emanated from within.
