Gabriel McNutt was visiting his grandparents’ house with his parents when he suffered a mental health crisis. His parents state that this had been happening to him for some time and he was not given adequate mental health support. They called 911 and asked police for help getting him treatment. Athens PD arrived, found him with knives and a tense situation ensued. Gabriel went to his grandfather’s room and got a gun. Police shot and killed him.

Police arrived at a home after reports of fires and shot and killed Brian Woodbury. Police also shot and killed Leein Hinkley who tried to break into homes and shot at police. Tampa PD and Hillsborough County deputies arrived at a domestic violence call to find Christos Alexander and his mother outside. Under pressure of arriving police, Alexander shot and killed his mother. Alexander then locked himself in the home. Police brought SWAT and a robot was deployed to breach the house. He was found dead by a police robot in the house and is believed to have died in a shootout with SWAT.

Minnesota State Patrol chased a motorcycle for undisclosed reasons. Police claim they called off the chase just before the motorcycle crashed into a police car. Yerkoy Shuler was visiting Winston-Salem because his daughter was graduating. Police traffic-stopped him and for unknown reasons asked him to step out of the car. He complied but police claim he tried to reach for something in his car. Police then subdued and handcuffed him and placed him in the back of a police car. He died in the police car from so far unknown causes. Police referred to his death being caused by a “medical episode.” Autopsy results were not made available by police so far.
