A Riverside deputy was seen chasing several people onto an empty property whereupon shots were heard. The deputy stated that he had been engaged in an altercation with a man when a woman allegedly attacked him. He shot and killed her. It is unknown what the deputy was doing at the property or why he confronted the people as he was apparently part of a road closure elsewhere and may not have been called to this event.

Harrisburg Police officers with a K9 chased someone on foot at 1:30 a.m. in the streets of Harrisburg. The man eventually allegedly fired shots at police. They shot and killed him. Three 17-year-old boys walked into a Big 5 sporting goods store with an airsoft gun they needed to return for a refund because it was defective. They were approached by a 51-year-old man who had profiled them and believed they had the Airsoft gun to rob the sporting goods store with and fired a shot at the boys, killing one of them. The boys had been unarmed and made no attempt to rob anyone. The surviving teens stated that they had told him multiple times that the Airsoft was not real and the man fired on them anyway. The man who shot them is allegedly a security guard who was off duty but took it upon himself to police the store’s parking lot when he arrived to pick up a family member. He is being held on $2 million for second degree murder.
