On 07/10/2024, around 7:45 p.m., Lafayette Parish Sheriff's deputies attempted to arrest 53-year-old Tony Pollard in the 400 block of Wagon Trail Road in Carencro. Pollard was under investigation for several violent crimes, including a July 4 armed robbery in which two firearms were stolen.

On 07/10/2024, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies from the East LA Station pursued Luis Florez in connection with an alleged carjacking.
