On 11/08/2025, Scott Forrest was shot and killed by Tulsa Police after a standoff inside an apartment near W 21st Street and Route 66 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Officers responded around 12:15 p.m. to a domestic violence call in which a woman reported being held hostage by Forrest, who was armed with a .40-caliber pistol. During the standoff, Forrest fired multiple rounds at officers through a wall, narrowly missing one of them. Negotiators spoke with him for several hours before Forrest appeared at a window with a gun in hand, and officers opened fire. The hostage was rescued unharmed, and one officer sustained minor injuries from debris.

On 11/08/2025, a vehicle traveling eastbound in the westbound lane of CY Avenue collided head-on with another vehicle. One person in the second vehicle died at the hospital, and three others were injured. A Natrona County Sheriff’s Office deputy had allegedly called off the chase of a suspected impaired driver near the intersection of Wyoming Boulevard and CY Avenue. The pursued vehicle continued at high speed and struck an unoccupied Casper Police Department car.

On 11/08/2025, officers with the Colonial Heights Police Department initiated a vehicle stop on The Boulevard after observing a vehicle traveling well above the speed limit. The driver, Amani Pollydore, refused to stop and a pursuit ensued into Petersburg. The vehicle then crashed into a tree on Marshall Street, ignited into fire, and spread flames to a nearby home. Pollydore and one front-seat passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. Two back-seat occupants were hospitalized with serious injuries.

On 11/07/2025, Crisp County deputies pursued a man reportedly wanted on active warrants near the area of Crisp County High School. The chase ended near the 1500 block of East 16th Avenue when the man exited his vehicle, fired at deputies, and police opened fire, killing him. On 11/07/2025, the Muskegon County Sheriff’s Office responded to a wellbeing check at the Comfort Inn in Whitehall Township concerning a 37-year-old man from Mears. Deputies located him inside the room with visible self-inflicted injuries. On 11/06/2025 at approximately 7:15 a.m., a deputy from the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office patrolling near the Walmart Supercenter at 21151 South Dixie Highway in Goulds attempted to contact an individual reported by a loss-prevention officer to be actively stealing 3 or 4 items. The man, 36-year-old Kennedy Graham, fled on foot from the deputy, who pursued. A physical confrontation occurred at the store entrance during which Graham was found armed. The deputy discharged his weapon, striking Graham, who collapsed just outside the store and died later at the hospital. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is now investigating the deputy-involved shooting.

On 11/05/2025 at around 10:33 p.m. CT, DPS troopers attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Marshawn Kneeland for a traffic violation on the northbound Dallas North Tollway near Keller Springs Blvd. The driver refused to stop and a pursuit ensued until troopers lost visual of the vehicle. The vehicle was later found abandoned after crashing in the southbound lanes of Dallas Parkway near Warren Parkway. During the subsequent search, officers received information that Kneeland had expressed suicidal intent and sent goodbye messages to loved ones. At approximately 1:31 a.m. on 11/06/2025, Kneeland was found deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

On 11/06/2025, deputies with the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office, assisted by U.S. Marshals and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, served a warrant on 38-year-old Ali Ihsan Bayhan for making terroristic threats against several elected officials and a Jewish temple in Tallahassee. When agents approached his residence on Northwest 16th Boulevard near 35th Way, Bayhan exited the unit armed with a handgun, refused commands, and reached for his weapon. On 11/06/2025, after a suspect violated an active protective order, returned to a residence near 5100 South & 4500 West in Kearns, Utah, a SWAT standoff developed involving the Unified Police Department. Nearby homes were evacuated and utilities at the scene were shut off for safety. After more than an hour of negotiations, the individual took his own life around 6 a.m. inside the residence.

The vehicle was located and as officers approached, 45-year-old William Griffin allegedly fired a shot from inside the vehicle. On 11/06/2025, an off duty deputy was involved in a domestic disturbance with Chiquita DeNorris George at a home on South Dekalb Street. During the incident, the deputy shot her. She died from the gunshot wound. Authorities later charged the deputy with first degree murder.

On 11/05/2025, an officer with the Niagara Police Department attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on U.S. Highway 141 near the Wisconsin–Michigan border. The driver allegedly did not stop and accelerated at a high rate of speed. The vehicle swerved into oncoming traffic and collided with a commercial truck. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. On 11/04/2025, at approximately 2:52 p.m., law-enforcement officers were responding to a call of a potential assault in progress when they located a black sedan with New Mexico plates driving north on U.S. Highway 550. When the vehicle stopped near the 28000 block of the highway, officers found a man standing outside his vehicle acting erratically. Within seconds, police shot him by at least five shots fired from an officer firing at close range. The highway was shut down for an extended period.

On 11/04/2025, beginning around 3:30 p.m., officers from several agencies pursued a stolen 2025 Chevrolet Silverado from Monument through Colorado Springs into Pueblo County. A state-trooper aircraft tracked the truck and deputies attempted a grappler stop near Mile Marker 110 on I-25. The man exited the highway at exit 108, drove west on Purcell Boulevard, and fired at least one gunshot at pursuing officers. The truck ended up stalled in a field near Purcell Boulevard and Fairbanks Avenue, where he reportedly opened fire again. A Monument police officer then returned fire, hitting him. Emergency personnel and Pueblo West firefighters rendered aid before the man was airlifted to a Colorado Springs hospital. The PCSO’s 10th Judicial Critical Incident Response Team is investigating.

On 11/04/2025, a Midwest City police officer attempted a traffic stop that escalated into a pursuit. Police said the driver, identified as 49-year-old Brice Lajuan Edwards, continued driving at high speed through city streets. On 11/04/2025, following a vehicle pursuit initiated by the Semmes Police Department, 34-year-old Delyshia LeShaun Molette crashed the vehicle in the jurisdiction of the Mobile Police Department. A boy in the vehicle died from injuries sustained in the crash and another child was left seriously injured. Investigators believe the child who died was their own.

A 40-year-old man was found with multiple stab wounds and transported to the hospital in stable condition. The man, 24-year-old Jacob Allen of Cedar Park, fled the scene on a motorcycle. On November 2, 2025, a man was shot and killed by officers of the Denton Police Department following a standoff in a north-Denton neighborhood near the 1300 block of Oxford Lane. Police arrived around 3:55 a.m. after a 911 call reporting a man shooting at unoccupied vehicles. The responding officers established a perimeter and attempted communication, but the man continued firing toward officers. Officers returned fire. The man was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

On November 2, 2025, deputies from the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office shot and killed 27-year-old Mario Camacho during a domestic violence call in Brandon. Deputies were dispatched after reports that Camacho was choking his 7-year-old brother and armed with a knife. When they entered the home, Camacho was wearing a motorcycle helmet and ballistic vests, barricaded in a bedroom with the child. After he refused repeated commands to release the boy or drop the weapon, Deputy Antonio Gonzalez opened fire. Camacho was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The child was rescued unharmed.

Police in Salisbury shot and killed a man on the evening of November 2, 2025, while attempting to take him into custody in connection with a homicide earlier that day. Officers found the man in the driveway of a home on Jefferson Street. According to investigators, he ignored commands and reached toward a handgun on the hood of a vehicle. Multiple officers opened fire, striking him. He was transported to a nearby hospital where he died.
