On 08/10/2024, San Diego Police officers attempted to stop a Harley-Davidson motorcycle for traffic violations. The rider continued driving away while police pursued. During the pursuit, the motorcycle reached speeds reported to be as high as 120 mph.
The pursuit ended on Valencia Parkway near Castle Creek Parkway when the motorcycle left the roadway and crashed.
