Courtney Spraggins was visiting her boyfriend, Huntsville PD officer David McCoy when he shot and killed her in his apartment parking lot. She had been pregnant with his baby. Her mother stated that he had previously taken her out to a corn field and pulled a gun on her because he was unhappy about the pregnancy. It was discovered that he had another fiancée.
