Frankfort Police Department officers were in Mayfield helping local agencies with the aftermath of tornadoes. Officers were conducting patrol overnight at the Mayfield-Graves County Fairgrounds when they allege a man armed with a gun approached officers and fired multiple shots in their direction. Officers shot and killed the individual.
