OPEN RECORDS SUMMARY :
Trinidad PD had gone to a home in the 1400 block of San Juan Street at exactly midnight to arrest a wanted person. Police heard voices in the trailer in the driveway of the property, knocked on the door and spoke with a woman. She said that there was no one else in the trailer. Police allege she became more and more uncooperative and was eventually detained. Officers then heard several gunshots from the trailer and took cover. Police shot and killed a man. They did not publicly identify him. No officers were charged.
