Jordan Griffith was driving when Jefferson County deputies attempted to traffic-stop him for outstanding warrants. Police escalated a chase and he lost control of his truck and crashed into a utility pole on Buechel Bank Road near GE Appliance Park. He shot himself as officers set up a perimeter around the car, committing suicide under police duress.
